Ed Linneweber

Your Hometown Attorney

Born and raised in Greene County, Ed Linneweber is a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. His deep roots in the community and his extensive experience make him uniquely suited to understand and serve the legal needs of his neighbors.

A month after his high school graduation, Ed’s journey led him to the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant of Infantry in 1998. He served with distinction in the 82d Airborne Division, completing rigorous training, including Army Ranger school.

Following his infantry service, Ed continued his national service by attending the University of Virginia School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2005. He then embarked on a distinguished career as a judge advocate, serving around the world and deploying twice to Iraq. His experience prosecuting courts-martial and advising commanders on complex legal and ethical matters honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the law.

After 21 years of service, Ed returned home to Greene County with his wife Tracey, a White River Valley High School graduate, to raise their four children and contribute to our community. After a short stint with a local law firm, Ed’s dedication to service led him to work as a deputy prosecutor in the Greene County Prosecutor’s office for over four years.

Ed opened Linneweber Law to serve the people of Greene County directly. His diverse experience in the military and as a prosecutor has equipped him to handle a wide range of legal matters with compassion and understanding.

At Linneweber Law, Ed provides responsive, personalized, and values-driven legal advice and representation to individuals and families in Greene County and surrounding areas. He understands that each client is unique and strives to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Whether you’re facing a criminal charge, navigating a family issue, planning your estate, or dealing with a business transaction, Ed is here to help.
